SUPERNATURAL
POP-UP JUICE BARS REQUIRING FAST-PACED INTERIOR DESIGN & TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS.
SCOPE: CONCEPT DESIGN, 3D VISUALS & TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
SECTOR: RETAIL - FOOD & BEVERAGE
Having worked with the Supernatural founder (an award-winning mixologist) Dan Thomson on his initial permenant store Canary Wharf in 2015, we have also successfully completed four pop-up locations ranging from small stalls to more fixed three month occupations of un-used retail spaces.
As we worked together, we developed an overall design that could be easily moved from location to location and produced a full-proof technical drawing / document pack to enable approval from Planning Departments, and often Transport for London, as the majority of the locations were in TFL Underground station concourses.
Locations designed:
Canary Wharf Underground Station (subterranean concourse)
Great Portland Street [Pop-up]
Paddington Basin [Pop-up]
Brick Lane [Pop-up]
Old Street Underground Station [Pop-up - as new concept ‘PB Shakes’]
Gibralter [Renders - for planning application approval only]
For each location, plans were produced alongside simple Sketch-up 3D visuals to give the client and any of the other stakeholders to see how the locations would look and feel in order to gain the go-ahead.
“Emma was a wonderful help in designing our retail unit in Canary Wharf Underground Station. She listened to not only what we needed but also the demands of TFL and delivered a wonderful and functional interior design for our juice bar. We look forward to using her on upcoming units.”
