Our process
STEP 01: LETS CHAT
To start your journey with us you just need to give us a call, email or simply press our contact us in our menu - then we will do the rest!
We’ll send you a form to start the design brief creation, this is a simple and short form to confirm a few initial facts about your project.
Then - let's meet! We can't wait to get to know you, whether it is in person over a cuppa (or let's face it, these days it will be via Zoom instead) and start planning your project with you.
STEP 02: CLARIFY YOUR BRIEF
We will then confirm back to you what we understand to be your design brief so that we're all on the same page.
This includes clarifying your project objectives, deliverables, timescales and budgets.
This step is important so that expectations are managed and any limitations (e.g. fixed deadline dates or items to be included in the design concept) are made clear at the very outset of the project.
STEP 03: PEN TO PAPER
It's over to us!
We always start with research e.g. for logo design we would look at your audience, competitors and industry’s market, and then check to ensure that we have all the information or content we need to reach the desired outcome (e.g. DWG files for space planning.)
Depending on the brief and design discipline (Graphics or Interior), this stage is quite flexible but will usually involve conceptual design experimentation and exploration - this is the fun part and we love to get as creative as we can, pushing you as a client to think differently, in order to reach the perfect design.
STEP 04: REVIEW
Design is always an iterative and collaborative process, therefore we value your feedback throughout this journey together. Progress will be presented to you and then issued for you to digest and comment on.
Once we get your thoughts on our initial concept, we will then hone, refine and develop your designs further, until you are happy with the final product.
With regular catch-ups, we will ensure your objectives are met and deliverables actualised, and that the best possible design direction has been realised.
STEP 05: DELIVERY
Once the revised designs have been approved, we will provide you with whatever you need to make sure that your project is as successful as possible!
For Graphics projects, this could just be simply providing you with digital files, rendering out videos for use on social media or even sending documents to print for you. With Interiors projects, files can be provided in any format you require but also specifications (e.g. Finishes or FF&E) can be professionally scheduled and prepared for tendering out if necessary.
R&R are always on hand to help.
