BARAKA RESTAURANT
TECHNICAL JOINERY PACKAGE FOR HIGH END TURKISH HOSPITALITY.
SCOPE: JOINERY TECHNICAL DRAWING PACK
SECTOR: FOOD & BEVERAGE
DESIGN BY: TANER’S SONS
Designed by Taner’s Sons this modern Turkish restaurant in the heart of the City required some external support when moving from developed design into the full RIBA Stage 4 Technical Design within a tight time-frame.
Working closely alongside the designers at Taner’s Sons, I was able to take their 3D modelling and renders and create detailed drawings for all joinery elements within the scheme for construction.
This required some finishes specification, numerous CAD detail drawings (plans, elevations, sections and details) and visits to site. Knowledge of materials and construction is key when designing joinery and enabled a smooth build which was to budget and met the clients expectations.
Joinery elements within the scheme which were drawn to technical standard:
Bars (both drinks and kitchen)
Bar and kitchen feature shelving
Wine display cabinet
Coat cupboards
Timber wall panelling
This project was nominated for a Mixology Award in 2020 in the ‘Project of the Year: Bar and Leisure Interiors’ category.
Location: Broadgate, London
Size: 350 sqm

“Working with Emma is always a wonderful experience. She took the brief and produced a thorough pack of drawings for the joinery to a very high standard. Throughout the time we worked together, I felt that I always had a safe pair of hands with Emma.”
