One of our first and most regular clients is ‘SpaceUp’ (a start-up property developer and manager) who came to us requiring a full brand identity and guidelines document put together, due to only having a logo design created previously, but no further brand work done.
Rickards & Reeves began this process by sitting down with the client to learn all about the history of the business, why she set it up and what really drives SpaceUp as a company. The client was in the process of rewriting their business plan, so it was a great time to be involved and help shape a brand and its offering.
The brand identity was initially worked on by ‘cleaning up’ the existing logo, updating it slightly and vectorising it so it could be used across multiple media. Then new primary and secondary colour palettes were devised, and patterns introduced inspired by the logo icon, alongside creation of a ‘company manifesto’ and establishing templates the client can use everyday.
Concepts for social media usage of the brand, alongside print materials (letterheads, business cards and postcards) and marketing collateral have been developed closely with the client to fulfil her vision of her company’s identity.
Rickards & Reeves have since created SpaceUp’s website (using the Squarespace platform) and also create social media content for them when required.
