BRAND IDENTITY REFRESH FOR MAYFAIR DESIGN & BUILD COMPANY.

We were appointed by FIDUCIA to re-design their current logo and develop a new brand identity as part of a wider brand refresh. The brief was to simplify and create a new logo which would be modern and clean in it’s appearance, and to create a brand that communicates their principles of honesty, confidence, being trustworthy and confirms it’s objectives of delivering high quality design and build services to both existing and new clients.

We wanted the logo re-design to speak for itself, presenting a strong balance of both positive and negative spacing, which would define the overall design. Using a unified line weight for each character provided consistency, and focusing on the reflected shape to form the D and C letters led us into creating a brand styling that strongly uses symmetry.

The introduction of a new colour palette with an updated shade of orange (their original brand colour) has given the brand an up-to-date and more sophisticated look and feel, and adjusting the way this is applied has elevated how the brand is percieved.

Various mock-ups have been provided to FIDUCIA to ensure they are happy with the brand identity application, and we are working closely alongside them to assist with the implementation of the new brand elements over the coming months.
